Reported Missing Teenager: Kyari Flood

The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 16 year old Kyari Flood.

Kyari (pictured right) is described as dark complexioned, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall of medium build with a short haircut.

Apparently he was recently seen in the Cottage Hill, Hamilton parish area but is known to frequent the Middle Town and Two Way Deepdale areas of Pembroke.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 16 year old Kyari Flood should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.

Autopsy Results: 88 Year Old Richard Johnston Died of Natural Causes

The Bermuda Police Service can confirm that the autopsy of 88 year old taxi driver Mr. Richard Johnston has been completed.

The results verify that he died of natural causes.

As such, the death of Mr. Johnston is not classified as a road traffic fatality.

Foul Play Not Suspected in Two Sudden Deaths Last Week

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the sudden death of 52 year old Stephen Savage of Sandys as well as 43 year old Heidi Capuano of Warwick in separate incidents on Tuesday, September 6th and extends condolences to their family and friends.

Both Mr. Savage and Ms. Capuano were found unresponsive in their respective homes.

However, foul play is not suspected in either incident.

This area has been covered by the news media and commented on in social media on a frequent basis lately, and there are elements of anxiety and concern that are obviously attached to the dialogue. Investigation Continues: Death of 88 Year Old Richard Johnston

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 88 year old Richard Johnston of Warwick and extends condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Johnston was the driver of a taxi involved in a single vehicle crash in the area of Barnes Corner on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with South Road around 9:30pm Friday, September 9th. Apparently the taxi struck a wall and overturned.

Death of 88 Year Old Taxi Driver [Updated]

At about 9:30pm on Friday September 9th first responders were dispatched to Barnes Corner in Southampton, to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a taxi.

Details are sketchy but it appears that the taxi driver was traveling east on Middle Road in Southampton when the driver, a 88 year old man lost control of his vehicle resulting in the taxi overturning.

Motorcyclist Remains Critical in ICU After Pembroke Crash

The investigation into the circumstances of a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash at the junction of Lane Hill and Cavendish Road in Pembroke around 2:30am Saturday, September 3rd continues.

At last check 7:55am today (Friday, September 9th) the 36 year old male motorcyclist injured in the incident remains in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit in critical condition.

Public Assistance Results in One of Two Stolen Motorcycles Recovered

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their response to an appeal regarding two stolen motocross bikes taken from the Bermuda Motorsports Park in St. David’s earlier this week.

The stolen Yamaha 250cc motocross bike has now been recovered after a member of the public located it hidden in bushes in St. George’s.

Police officers subsequently attended the area and retrieved the motorcycle, which has been preserved for forensic examination.

Theft of Two Motorcycles From Bermuda Motorsports Park

Around 12:30pm on Tuesday, September 6th a theft of two motorcycles was reported from Bermuda Motorsports Park in St. David’s.

It appears that sometime between 6pm Monday, September 5th and 11am Tuesday, September 6th an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry to the grounds and several storage containers, stealing a white Cobra 65cc motocross bike featuring pink, purple and black graphics along with an all-white Yamaha YZ 250F motocross bike with black rims.

Man Arrested on Suspicion of Possessing Ammunition

Around 2:15pm on Monday, September 5th police and first responders attended a reported collision in the Mullet Bay Road, St. George’s area where a 21 year old man was found lying near the roadside.

The individual was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and later arrested on suspicion of possessing ammunition.
