Man in Custody Regarding Suspicious Death of Dejion Stange-Simmons

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 26 year old Dejion Stange-Simmons and extends condolences to his family and friends.
Mr. Stange-Simmons was found in an unresponsive state under suspicious circumstances at a Sentinel Hill, Southampton residence by police officers executing a search warrant around 9:30pm Thursday and later pronounced dead at the scene by a doctor.

Around 9:30pm on Thursday, November 26th police officers executing a search warrant at a Sentinel Hill, Southampton residence discovered a male believed to be in his 20s in an unresponsive state inside, under suspicious circumstances.
No further information regarding the deceased will be given at this time until next of kin has been notified.

The Central Community Action Team will be holding a series of community clinics next month, which the public is invited to attend.
Devonshire Parish – Devonshire Lindo’s from 11am until 3pm Wednesday, 2nd December 2015.
Paget Parish – Paget Rural Hill Plaza from 1:30pm until 4pm Saturday 12th December 2015.
Pembroke Parish – (EEZ) E.F. Gordon car park from 5pm until 9pm Friday 18th December 2015.
Reported Missing Teenager: Savannah Lewis [Located]

The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 17 year old Savannah Lewis.
Ms. Lewis is described as light complexioned, approximately 5’4” tall of slim build, with red shoulder length hair and freckles on her face.
She was apparently last seen wearing long khaki pants and a green short sleeved shirt around 8:30am Thursday, November 19th leaving her Alexandra Road, Devonshire home for school.
However, Ms. Lewis has been in contact with a family member as recently as Tuesday evening (November 24th) and is known to frequent the Tulo Valley, Controversy Lane areas of Pembroke.

The Chief Justice ruled today on the appeal of Commissioner -v- Michael Harkin. The case involves an appeal against a Human Rights Commission ruling that in 2009 the (then) Commissioner breached former Constable Harkin’s human rights over a delayed promotion, and then non-renewal of contract. Injured Motorcyclist Remains in ICU in Stable Condition

The 33 year old St. George’s man injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with the kerb along Crow Lane in Pembroke, near the junction with Corkscrew Hill around 2:30am Friday, November 20th remains in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit this morning.
A police statement released on Sunday, November 22nd stated that he had been discharged from the hospital. However, after further checks with the hospital earlier today, it was confirmed that was not the case.

The 33 year old St. George’s man injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with the kerb along Crow Lane in Pembroke, near the junction with Corkscrew Hill around 2:30am Friday, November 20th was treated and later discharged from the hospital.
He was initially warded in the Intensive Care Unit.
Inquiries regarding this collision continue and any witnesses should contact the Hamilton Police Station on 247-1704.

Reported Serious Motorcycle Collision on Crow Lane

Around 2:30am on Friday, November 20th first responders were dispatched to a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle collision on Crow Lane in Pembroke near the junction with Corkscrew Hill.
It appears that a motorcycle being ridden out of the City of Hamilton collided with the kerb, approaching the north round-a-bout.
Investigation Into Daniel’s Head Shooting Continues

The 25 year old Sandys parish man shot and injured around 2:40am Saturday, November 14th was treated and later discharged from the hospital.
Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses or persons that may have seen any suspicious activity in the Daniel’s Head, Sandys parish area during the early morning hours of Saturday.
