The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 26 year old Dejion Stange-Simmons and extends condolences to his family and friends.
Mr. Stange-Simmons was found in an unresponsive state under suspicious circumstances at a Sentinel Hill, Southampton residence by police officers executing a search warrant around 9:30pm Thursday and later pronounced dead at the scene by a doctor.
A man is now in custody in relation to this incident and a Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to assist the deceased’s family at this difficult time.
Detectives continue their investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of Mr. Stange-Simmons and persons with any information should contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the anonymous and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.
Injured Motorcyclist Remains in ICU in Stable Condition
At last check Friday morning (November 27th), the 33 year old St. George’s man injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with the kerb along Crow Lane in Pembroke, near the junction with Corkscrew Hill around 2:30am Friday, November 20th remained in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
However, it is anticipated that he will be moved to a general ward later today.
