Reported Single Vehicle Damage Only Car Crash on St. David’s Road

Around 9:30am Sunday, March 4th police officers attended a reported single vehicle crash on St. David’s Road in St. George’s, near the junction with Chapel of Ease Road.

It appears that a car being driven west on St. David’s Road struck a roadside embankment and overturned. The driver, a 21 year old St. George’s woman, was not injured.

Renewed Advisory Regarding Incidents of Indecent Exposure

The Bermuda Police Service continues to conduct inquiries regarding unknown men committing public acts of indecent exposure. Recent incidents have been reported in the Crow Lane, Pembroke area and the South Road, Smith’s parish area.

As a result, it is strongly recommended that all runners and walkers:

Rider Treated, Discharged & Arrested After Camp Road Collision

At last check this morning (March 1st) the 25 year old male motorcyclist – believed to be from Southampton – injured in a collision with a van around 7:30pm Wednesday, February 28th on Camp Road in Warwick had been treated and discharged from hospital.

He was then arrested on suspicion of impaired driving as inquiries continue. Any witnesses are still encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Motorcyclist Injured in Collision With Van [Updated]

Police and other first responders attended a report of a road traffic collision that took place at 7:29pm on Camp Road in Warwick.

It appears that a van was traveling south and a male on a motorcycle was traveling north when they collided.

As a result, the 25 year old male rider was taken to the hospital where he is presently being treated with injuries at this point that are classified as serious.

Overturned Truck in Warwick: No Reported Injuries [Updated]

Around 12 noon today police and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel responded to an overturned truck in the Middle Road, Khyber Pass Warwick area.

Details remain limited. However, apparently no one was injured in the incident.

Traffic is currently being diverted from the area until further notice while Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel address any spilled fuel from the vehicle.

Injured Rider Recovering After North Shore Road Devonshire Collision [Updated]

At last check this morning (February 28th) the motorcyclist injured after colliding with two cars on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with Barkers Hill Tuesday afternoon – believed to be a 65 year old Devonshire man – was said to be recovering in stable condition at the hospital.

He was initially admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.

Reported Serious Collision: North Shore Road, Devonshire [Updated]

Police and first responders attended a report of a road traffic collision that took place on North Shore Road just east of Barkers Hill at around 5:30pm today. It appears that a rider of a motorcycle and a car collided resulting in a male motorcycle rider being trapped underneath the car.

The man was eventually extricated from the vehicle by Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service. He was then taken via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he is being treated for serious head injuries.

Police Vehicle Crashes Into Roadside Hedge in St. George’s

Around 11:15am today (February 27th) a police vehicle crashed into a hedge along St. David’s Road in St. George’s.

No other vehicle was involved and a tow truck subsequently assisted in removing the police Land Cruiser from the hedge.

There were no reported injuries, the scene was processed by the relevant police personnel and inquiries regarding the circumstances of the crash continue.

Teen Girl Hurt in Saturday Collision Recovering on a General Ward

At last check this morning (February 26th) the 16 year old Paget girl hurt when the 50cc auxiliary cycle she was riding along North Shore Road, Hamilton parish collided with a car around 2:10pm Saturday, February 24th was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.
