The Marine Police Unit would like to advise members of the public that they will be conducting a marine flare exercise on Friday 12th December between 11am & 12 noon in the Great Sound (weather permitting). Both hand held red locator flares and red distress parachute flares will be used during the exercise and will be launched from the Police vessel ‘Guardian’. |

Bermuda Radio (RCC Bermuda) has also been made aware of this scheduled exercise.
There are a large number of Police officers actively working on this incident, in which the suspect used an alleged firearm to shoot at uniformed Police officers during the early morning hours of Saturday before making good his escape.

At 10:20am today, Police attended a report of willful damage to a Department of Correction's van on Parliament Street in Pembroke. The van received a shattered driver's side window; however, no one was injured. At this time there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.

The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16 year old Chantice Butterfield (pictured right) and 15 year old Madelene Cann (pictured left). Both young women were last seen between 9:15pm and 9:30pm on Sunday, November 23rd in Smith’s parish.
