Around 8pm Wednesday, June 26th police officers responded to 911 calls regarding a disturbance at Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club.
Information suggests that an altercation occurred between two men, with one brandishing a bladed article.
At this time it is understood that one man sustained injuries to his hand – apparently unrelated to the altercation – and is currently being treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
Around 2pm Tuesday, June 25th a reported two car collision occurred at the junction of Middle Road and North Shore Road in Smith’s parish (Flatts Village).
It appears that one car was being driven along Middle Road and the other car was being driven along North Shore Road when the vehicles collided at the junction.
At last check this morning (June 25th) the 22 year old male motorcyclist and off duty Constable seriously injured in a single vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred around 2:45am Sunday, June 23rd on Crow Lane in Pembroke remained in critical condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can confirm that an off duty 22 year old BPS Constable is the man that sustained serious injuries in a single vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred around 2:45am Sunday, June 23rd on Crow Lane in Pembroke, while he was riding his private motorcycle.
The young man is currently receiving treatment in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
At last check this morning (June 24th) the 22 year old male motorcyclist seriously injured in a single vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred around 2:45am Sunday, June 23rd on Crow Lane in Pembroke was listed in critical condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The Bermuda Police Service in collaboration with St. George’s stakeholders will be conducting a ‘Stranger Danger’ presentation – to raise awareness about how to respond to and report inappropriate personal interactions – for youth and their parents.

Around 2:45am Sunday, June 23rd a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash occurred on Crow Lane in Pembroke in the vicinity of the north round-a-bout.
Details are still emerging. However, it appears that the 22 year old male motorcyclist involved was traveling out of the City of Hamilton along Crow Lane when he struck the kerb near Corkscrew Hill.
The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) have confirmed they are in dialogue with OutBermuda to support Bermuda’s first parade to celebrate Gay Pride this summer.

Around 10pm Thursday, June 20th a collision occurred on Kindley Field Road in St. George’s involving an unmarked police car and a taxi.
It appears that the unmarked police car was being driven west along Kindley Field Road and the taxi was being driven in the opposite direction when the collision occurred at Stone Crusher Corner.
The police officer, taxi driver and taxi passenger (local resident) involved were not hurt.
The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) is renewing the appeal for witnesses to come forward regarding the murder of Fiqre Crockwell, who was fatally shot on Woodlands Road in Pembroke minutes before 3am Monday, 20th June 2016.
This case remains an active murder investigation and today marks the third anniversary since Fiqre was killed.
