Around 1:30am Wednesday, March 1st police and first responders were dispatched to a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle crash on Kindley Field Road in St. George's.
Initial information suggests that a male motorcyclist believed to be a 51 year old Pembroke man and his female pillion passenger, believed to be a 47 year old Pembroke woman, were traveling in an easterly direction when they went off the road.
Detectives are currently conducting inquiries into a reported theft.
It appears that between 10pm and 10:15pm Monday, February 27th a male taxi driver transported two passengers, a male and a female believed to be in their 20s, from Cedar Avenue, City of Hamilton to the parking lot of Clear View Suites, Hamilton parish.
Around 12:40am on Monday, February 27th police received a report of a robbery on St. David’s Road in St. George’s.
It appears that sometime between 8:45pm and 9pm Sunday, February 26th a 24 year old Hamilton parish man was riding his motorcycle along St. David’s Road near the junction with Dolly’s Bay Road when he was accosted by two unknown men on another motorcycle and apparently knocked to the ground.
Around 2:45pm on Saturday, February 25th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported collision on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Lighthouse Road.
Details remain limited at this time.
However, it appears that a female motorcyclist was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 54 year old Robin M. Simmons and extends condolences to his family and friends.
The lifeless body of Mr. Simmons was discovered inside a Mount View Road, Pembroke apartment around 2:50pm Wednesday, February 22nd.
He was then pronounced dead at the scene by an on call doctor at 3:30pm that day.
Around 2:50pm on Wednesday, February 22nd police and first responders were dispatched to a reported sudden death at a Mount View Road, Pembroke residence.
The lifeless body of a 54 year old man was found at that location and currently the scene is being processed by the relevant police personnel.
Inquiries continue, however initial information does not suggest any suspicious circumstances.

She returned last night safe and well.
Reported Motorcycle Crash in Hamilton Parish
Around 7:15am on Monday, February 20th police and first responders attended a reported collision involving a motorcycle on Abbot’s Cliff Road in Hamilton parish.
The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 15 year old India Smith.
Ms. Smith is described as brown complexioned, 5 feet 7 inches tall weighing approximately 200 pounds, with short brown hair.
The teenager was apparently last seen in Devonshire wearing grey Adidas sweatpants and a black and grey shirt around 11:30am Friday, February 17th.
However, subsequent information suggests that she was at an Ord Road, Warwick residence Saturday morning (February 18th) – although it is unclear if she was wearing the same clothing at that time.
Around 3:45am on Sunday, February 19th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle auxiliary cycle crash on South Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Brighton Hill Road.
It appears that the rider, a 32 year old Devonshire woman, struck a wall and sustained facial injuries which were not serious. She was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
Around 2:30pm on Friday, February 17th police and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel responded to a reported collision in Hamilton parish involving a truck.
Details are limited at this time. However, initial information suggests that the truck went over an embankment in the Cottage Hill Road, Abbot’s Crescent area.
