Around 11:20pm on Sunday, January 29th police officers responded to a report of gunshots at Mid-Atlantic Boat Club on North Shore Road in Devonshire.
Initial information was that one person was shot and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance.
That individual, believed to be a 31 year old Devonshire man, later succumbed to his injuries.
Members of the public are reminded that Bermuda Waterworks Limited will continue carrying out emergency repair work to their water main on Harbour Road this weekend.
To facilitate the repairs a section of Harbour Road Paget, between Pomander Road and Lovers Lane, will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians.
Police officers will assist with traffic management from 2pm until 8pm Saturday (January 28th).
Around 1:20pm today (Thursday, January 26th) police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the Cable Hill, Devonshire area.
Details are limited at this time.
However, it appears that a 19 year old Devonshire man was shot and injured.
The investigation continues regarding the circumstances of the single vehicle fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of 62 year old Mr. Terry Simmons.
Officers are pursuing all available lines of enquiry to assist in determining what happened around 12:40am last Thursday on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road.

The motoring public is advised that the Ministry of Public Works is expected to commence road paving Sunday, January 22nd along a section of South Road in Paget from south round-a-bout to Grape Bay Drive.
To facilitate the roadwork, the following traffic diversions will be in effect from 7am Sunday:
Traffic travelling east on South Road from Paget traffic lights will be diverted onto Stowe Hill, then onto The Lane.

Around 7:40pm on Thursday, January 19th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle crash on Harrington Sound Road in Smith’s parish, near the junction with Broken Hill Road.
Details remain limited at this time.
However the rider, believed to be a 37 year old Paget man, was injured and taken to the hospital via ambulance for treatment.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 62 year old Terry Simmons of Pembroke and extends condolences to his family and friends.
Mr. Simmons was seriously injured after the motorcycle he was riding apparently struck a wall in a reported single vehicle crash on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road around 12:40am Thursday, January 19th.
