The Bermuda Police Service is aware of some residents receiving phone calls regarding an alleged electrical usage / hot water heater usage survey. Apparently an unidentified male caller claims that he is conducting a survey of these utilities and needs to arrange a home inspection.
We continue to recommend that members of the public receiving these phone calls or similar phone calls ask for the caller’s name, phone number and credentials to verify if the call is genuine. Any unsubstantiated calls should be reported to Police.
