Injured 30 Year Old Motorcyclist Remains Stable in ICU

At last check earlier this morning (October 23rd) the 30 year old male motorcyclist from Pembroke injured in a collision with a car that occurred around 12:10am Saturday, October 14th at the junction of Elliot Street and Union Street in the City of Hamilton remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Inquiries continue regarding this collision and any witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Sudden Death of Mr. Robert Wilson

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 63 year old Robert Wilson and extends sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Wilson was found in an unresponsive state at an Eastdale Lane, Southampton residence around 7:35pm Tuesday, October 17th and later pronounced dead at the scene by an on call doctor.

Foul play is not suspected. However, an autopsy is anticipated.

Three Injured Men Remain in Hospital After St. John’s Road Collision

At last check earlier this morning (October 19th) the three male occupants of the car involved in a collision with a truck that occurred around 7:50pm Tuesday, October 17th on St. John's Road, Pembroke near the junction with Tatems Hill continued their recovery at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The 21 year old car driver from Pembroke was in stable condition on a general ward while his passengers, a 22 year old Pembroke man and a 22 year old Warwick man, remained in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit and in stable condition on a general ward respectively.

Sudden Death in Southampton [Updated]

Around 7:35pm Tuesday, October 17th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported sudden death at an Eastdale Lane, Southampton residence where a 63 year old man was found in an unresponsive state and later pronounced dead at the scene by an on call doctor.

Identification of the deceased is anticipated in due course, after his next of kin has been notified. Inquiries are underway regarding the circumstances of this sudden death but foul play is not suspected at this time.

Four Men Injured in Two Vehicle St. John’s Road Collision [Updated]

Around 7:50pm Tuesday, October 17th police and first responders were dispatched to‎ a reported two vehicle collision on St. John's Road in Pembroke near the junction with Tatems Hill involving a truck and a car.

The truck driver, believed to be a 41 year old man, was injured as well as the car driver, believed to be a 21 year old man and his passengers, believed to be two 22 year old men.

Sudden Death of Mr. Stephen Proctor

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 67 year old Stephen Proctor.

Mr. Proctor fell overboard off a cliff on North Shore Road, Pembroke near the junction with Berkeley Road around 11:45am today (October 17th).

‎Despite CPR at the scene and during transport via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, he was later pronounced dead.

CCTV Being Reviewed: Reported Disturbance in City of Hamilton

Around 4:55pm Monday, October 16th police officers were dispatched to a reported disturbance on Church Street in the City of Hamilton, in the vicinity of City Hall and the city bus terminal, where a group of young people were involved in an altercation.

The combatants, believed to be students, were quickly separated by two plain clothes police officers on patrol in the area at the time.

The young people involved then dispersed before additional officers arrived on scene.

Man Dies After Fall from North Shore Road, Pembroke Cliff [Updated]

Around 11:45am Tuesday, October 17th police and first responders were dispatched to a report of a man that fell overboard off a cliff on North Shore Road near the junction with Berkeley Road in Pembroke.

‎The man, believed to be in his 60s from Sandys parish, was retrieved from the water in an unresponsive state and given CPR which continued as he was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance.

However sadly, the man was later pronounced dead.

Motorcyclist Injured in Pembroke Collision [Updated]

Around 12:10am Saturday, October 14th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported collision at the junction of Elliot Street and Union Street in the City of Hamilton.

Initial information suggests that a motorcycle and a car were involved and the rider, believed to be a 30 year old Pembroke man, may have sustained serious injuries.
