Reported Serious Motorcycle Crash South Road, Paget [Updated]

Approximately 7:55pm Friday 1st December 2017, police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorbike on South Road, Paget, in the area of the Coral Beach tennis courts. The female rider was transported via ambulance to the hospital with serious head injuries.

Traffic diversions are in place and the relevant officers are processing the scene.

Around 4:40pm today (Friday, December 1st) police and first responders were dispatched to a reported serious single vehicle road traffic collision in the area of North Shore Road and Limehouse Lane in Hamilton Parish.

Details are still unfolding but it appears that a man on a motorcycle collided with a wall in the area. The victim has been taken to the hospital and his condition appears to be serious.

Reported Serious Truck & Motorcycle Collision on Wilkinson Avenue [Updated]

Around 2:30pm today (Friday, December 1st) police and first responders were dispatched to a report of a road traffic collision that took place on Wilkinson Avenue in Hamilton parish near the entrance to Crystal Caves.

Details are still unfolding but it appears that a truck and a motorcycle traveling in opposite directions collided.

Truck Driver Treated & Discharged After North Shore Road Crash

A male truck driver injured in a single vehicle crash around 11:10am Thursday, November 30th on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish has been treated and subsequently discharged from the hospital.

Inquiries continue and any witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.

The circumstances are as follows:

About 7:15pm on Saturday 29th July 2017, police received several 911 calls from persons reporting a stabbing at West End Sailboat Club, Sandys, where the wake of murder victim Jahcari Francis was taking place.

Autopsy Confirms Sudden Death of Roel Flores From Natural Causes

The Bermuda Police Service can confirm that the autopsy of 52 year old Filipino guest worker Mr. Roel Flores has been completed.

The results verify that he died of natural causes.

As such, the death of Mr. Flores is no longer classified as a road traffic fatality.

Truck Crash on North Shore Road [Updated]

Around 11:10am today (Thursday, November 30th) police and first responders were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle crash on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish.

It appears that a truck was traveling west on North Shore Road in the vicinity of Bethel AME Church and the Railway Trail, when the driver of the truck apparently lost control and struck a wall, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Injured Motorcyclist Airlifted Overseas for Further Medical Treatment

At last check earlier this morning (November 30th) the 54 year old Warwick man seriously hurt in a two motorcycle collision at the junction of Middle Road and Ord Road, Warwick around 8:30pm Tuesday, November 28th had been airlifted overseas for further medical treatment – after initially being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH).

The other rider involved, a 25 year old Warwick man, was treated at KEMH for his injuries and discharged.

Sudden Death of Roel Flores [Updated]

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 52 year old Roel Flores and extends sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Flores, a Filipino guest worker, was apparently involved in a single vehicle motorcycle crash at the junction of South Road and Warwick Lane in Warwick around 6pm Tuesday, 28th November.

He was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ‎ambulance but sadly later pronounced dead.
