Male Rider Injured in Reported Single Vehicle Motorcycle Crash [Updated]

Around 10:15pm Sunday, June 3rd police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash on Turkey Hill in St. George’s.

It appears that the rider involved – believed to be a 23 year old St. George’s man – was hurt after striking a wall.

Ambulance & Car Collide in the City of Hamilton [Updated]

Around 4:40pm today (June 3rd) police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Front Street and Court Street in the City of Hamilton.

Initial information suggests that a car driven along Court Street and an ambulance driven along Front Street – which had its emergency lights on at the time – collided.

Two Men Arrested on Court Street & Two Search Warrants Executed

Police executed two separate search warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act after arresting two men on Court Street on unrelated matters Thursday (May 31st).

As a result a quantity of drugs, cash and jewellery were seized under the auspices of the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Witnesses Sought: Injured Female Motorcyclist Remains Stable in ICU [Updated]

At last check this morning (May 31st) the 32 year old female motorcyclist injured in a collision with a car around 8:30am Tuesday, May 29th at the junction of Parsons Road and The Glebe Road in Pembroke remained listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Inquiries continue and any witnesses are still asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Around 8:30am Tuesday, May 29th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Parsons Road and The Glebe Road in Pembroke.

It appears that a motorcyclist was traveling along Parsons Road and a car driver was traveling along The Glebe Road when the collision occurred as the driver of the car attempted to turn on to Parsons Road.

Injured Motorcyclist Treated & Discharged After Devonshire Collision

Around 8:10am Monday, May 28th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Middle Road and Watlington Road West in Devonshire.

It appears that the car driver and motorcyclist involved were traveling in opposite directions on Middle Road when the collision occurred as the driver of the car attempted to turn on to Watlington Road West.

Motorcyclist Hurt in Paget Collision Sunday Night Recovering [Updated]

A 30 year old male motorcyclist hurt in a collision with a car around 10:15pm Sunday, May 27th on Point Finger Road in Paget was recovering in hospital this morning.

It appears that the car driver and motorcycle rider were traveling in the same direction when the collision occurred outside the entrance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

Reported Two Vehicle Collision in Paget [Updated]

Police and Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of a collision that took place around 10:14pm tonight (Sunday) on Point Finger Road in Paget outside of the hospital.

Details are still emerging but it appears that a car collided with a motorcycle and as a result, members of the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service used extricating equipment to lift the car off of the male victim who then was conveyed to the hospital where the rider of the cycle is listed in serious condition at this time.

Motorcyclist Hurt in Reported Single Vehicle Sandys Parish Crash [Updated]

Around 9pm on Thursday, May 24th police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service as well as ambulance personnel were dispatched to a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash on Middle Road in Sandys parish near the junction with Wreck Road.

It appears that the rider, believed to be a 54 year old Warwick man, was hurt when he struck a wall in the vicinity of Somerset Bridge, while traveling along the westbound lane of Middle Road.

BPS Assisting UK Authorities With Murder Investigation

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can confirm the death of Bermudian national 15 year old Samuel Baker who died as a result of a stabbing incident that took place in South Yorkshire in the UK yesterday. The Bermuda Police Service is presently working with the UK authorities in connection with the investigation.

The BPS extends our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
