Around 11:45pm August 14th, police responded to a collision along Reid Street near the junction with Burnaby Street Pembroke, involving a motorcar and a motorcycle.
It was reported that a 34 year old female driver was travelling east in the wrong direction on Reid Street, when her vehicle came into contact with a man on a motorcycle who was travelling west along Reid Street.
As a result the male motorcyclist was conveyed to KEMH where he was treated for his injuries. The 34 year old female driver was subsequently arrested for Suspicion of Driving While Impaired
Police also responded to a report of a road traffic accident which occurred along the Causeway, around 11:50pm on August 15th 2015.
Two motorcars traveling in opposite directions became involved in a collision causing one of the vehicles to overturn. As a result three females were conveyed to KEMH where they were treated for minor injuries and subsequently released.
Meanwhile, around 4:25pm on August 15th 2015, a 66 year old man was arrested after he was seen wielding a machete and appeared to be chasing after another man along North Shore Road near Dock Hill Devonshire. There were no reported injuries following this incident.
