Around 6:20pm Tuesday, May 7th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton parish – not Smith’s parish as originally stated.
Apparently the car and minibus involved collided near Walsingham Lane, in the vicinity of Tom Moore’s Tavern.
The driver of the car, the driver of the minibus and a passenger in the minibus – said to be a 36 year old Warwick woman, a 61 year old Hamilton parish man and a 33 year old American man respectively – were transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of their injuries and later discharged.
Traffic diversions were in effect for approximately an hour and a half, until the damaged vehicles were towed away.
