Rider Fatally Injured in Collision With Taxi

At approximately 12:05am on Sunday September 4th, police and first responders received a report of a road traffic collision that took place between a motorcycle and a taxi on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish (just east of Harlem Heights).
It appears the male rider who was travelling in a westerly direction overtook traffic and collided with the taxi travelling in the opposite direction.
The 50 year old man was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.
