Around 8:40am Thursday, February 22nd police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel as well as ambulance personnel were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on Middle Road in Southampton, near the junction with Lighthouse Road.

Initial information suggests that a car and a motorcycle were involved.

Apparently the male rider was injured and taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment.

An update on the injured rider’s condition will be provided in due course.

Update: Friday, February 23rd - At last check this morning (February 23rd) the motorcyclist injured after colliding with a car around 8:40am Thursday, February 22nd at the junction of Middle Road and Lighthouse Road in Southampton – believed to be a 55 year old Southampton man – had been treated and discharged from hospital.
