At around 8:20pm  first responders attended a report of road traffic collision that took place at the junction of Middle Road and Chapel Road in Paget.

Details at this point are unclear but it appears that a water truck and a car collided.

As a result the driver of the car, a 27 year old man  was taken to the hospital and his injuries at this time are unknown.

Traffic is being diverted whilst the relevant officers process the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact police on 295-0011.
