Around 8:30am on Monday, October 24th police attended a reported theft from the Marsh Folly Depot on Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke.
It appears that several vehicles belonging to the Department of Parks were searched by an unknown culprit.
Stolen from the compound were two machetes, one chainsaw blade and two empty gas containers.
Inquiries into this incident continue and persons with relevant information or who may have seen suspicious activity around the Marsh Folly Depot between 12 noon Saturday, October 22nd and 8am Monday, October 24th should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.
Recent Collision Victims Continue to Recover in ICU
At last check the 43 year old Sandys parish man more seriously injured in a reported motorcycle and auxiliary cycle collision on South Road in Paget near the junction with Tribe Road No. 5 around 8:30am Wednesday, October 19th was continuing to recover in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Likewise at last check the 84 year old Paget woman more seriously injured in a reported two car collision on South Road in Devonshire near the junction with Melville Crescent around 9:45pm Thursday, October 20th was continuing to recover in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
