Around 1pm on Sunday, July 12th first responders were dispatched to a reported serious single vehicle collision along Middle Road, Southampton in the vicinity of Jews Bay.
It appears that the car involved overturned injuring the driver, a 42 year old Devonshire man and his two passengers, believed to be a 34 year old woman and a 7 year old boy.
Apparently the driver had to be assisted out of the vehicle and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of a head injury.
At last check he had been admitted into the Intensive Care Unit.
The two passengers are said to have sustained non-life threatening injuries.
A section of Middle Road, Southampton between Church Road and Lighthouse Road was temporarily closed while a Traffic Collision Investigator and the Forensic Support Unit examined the scene. That section of road has since been re-opened to normal traffic flow.

Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club Shooting Victim Remains in ICU
At last check 6:45am Sunday, July 12th the 40 year old Hamilton parish man shot and injured at Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club a few minutes after 12am Thursday, July 2nd remained in critical condition at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
