Reported Serious Collision in Sandys Parish

Around 7:55am on Saturday, June 13th first responders were dispatched to a reported serious collision on Malabar Road in Sandys parish just west of Watford Bridge.
It appears that a motorcycle being ridden out of Dockyard collided with the curb. The injured male rider was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment; however at this time the extent of his injuries is unknown.
An update regarding the victim's condition will be given when more details are available.
Traffic collision investigators are currently examining the scene and inquiries regarding this collision continue.
