Around 10:15pm on Saturday, August 1st first responders were dispatched to a report of an injured woman lying on the ground in the Middle Road, Lukes Pond Road Southampton area.
The 53 year old Southampton resident was taken via ambulance to the hospital, apparently for treatment of head and facial injuries.
Initial inquiries have commenced; however details remain limited at this time.
Anyone with relevant information – especially persons who may have been in the Middle Road, Lukes Pond Road Southampton area, in the vicinity of Greene’s Guest House around 10pm Saturday – should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.
Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club Shooting Victim Remains in ICU
At last check around 6:30am Saturday, August 1st the 40 year old Hamilton parish man shot and injured at Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club a few minutes after 12am Thursday, July 2nd was in stable condition at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Guest Worker Injured in Two Vehicle Collision Remains in ICU
At last check around 6:30am Saturday, August 1st the 28 year old male guest worker injured around 6:50pm Sunday, July 26th when the livery cycle he was riding collided with a car being driven in the opposite direction along South Road in Warwick near Warwick Long Bay was in stable condition at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
