Reported Armed Robbery Witness Appeal Continues

Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses to a reported armed robbery that occurred around 1:50pm Thursday March 24th at T&L Budget Warehouse on St John’s Road, just 100 meters before North Shore Road and Admiralty House in Pembroke.

The suspects escaped on a black motorcycle with an undisclosed amount of cash and were described as dark brown complexioned males – one wearing all black and the other a black top and grey pants.

One appeared to be between 5 ft. 8in and 5 ft. 10in tall and of stocky build while the other was a thin framed male between 5 ft. 10in and 6 ft. tall.

Witnesses or anyone with information regarding two males acting suspiciously in the Spanish Point, North Shore Road or St John’s Road Pembroke area Thursday afternoon should contact police on 295-0011 or the Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.

Subject of Possible Marine Distress Report Located Alive & Well

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance with a report from a member of the public who believed he may have seen a person in distress in the waters approximately 200 meters off of Pink Beach in Hamilton Parish around 1:30pm Saturday, March 26th.

At the time police vessels and other persons from the boating community responded, conducting an intensive search in the area with negative results.

However around 8:50am Sunday, March 27th police received a call from a male paddle boarder that was in the waters off the Pink Beach area around the time the person in distress report was made. He was never in any distress and had returned to shore safely.

Injured Motorcyclist Recovering

The 28 year old St. George’s man injured in a reported single vehicle motorcycle collision around 4:45am Friday March 25th along Kindley Field Road in St. George’s apparently continues to recover on a general ward at the hospital. Witnesses or anyone who may have been in the area at the time are still asked to contact police on 295-0011.
