Ongoing Appeal: Witnesses to Movements of Black Car Early Saturday

Investigators continue to appeal to members of the public who may have any information regarding the movements of a black Kia car involved in the early Saturday morning hit and run collision(s) that occurred in the Middle Road, Cobbs Hill Road Warwick area.

Reported Vandalism of ATMs

The Bermuda Police Service is currently investigating reported vandalism incidents at various ATM locations.

It appears that over the past two days an offender used spray paint to deface ATMs at Lindo’s in Warwick, Heron Bay MarketPlace in Southampton, Raynor’s Gas Station in Southampton, Somerset MarketPlace in Sandys parish and Water Street in St. George’s.

Inquiries into these incidents are underway and witnesses or anyone with any information should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.

Upcoming Central Parishes Community Clinic

The Central Community Action Team (CCAT) will be holding a ‘Meet Your CAT Officers’ – Police Community Clinic from 12 noon until 4pm on Friday, 24th April 2015 at C-Mart, North Shore Road, Pembroke.

At the event area residents will have the opportunity to meet their Community Action Team officer(s), discuss any concerns they may have about ongoing anti-social or criminal activity in their neighborhoods and receive Neighborhood Watch Group information as well as crime prevention advice and pamphlets.

In addition to having a static post, Community Action Team officers will also be conducting foot patrols of the immediate area to engage residents that may not be in a position to attend C-Mart during Friday afternoon’s community clinic.
