At last check the 22 year old Paget man injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with the curb around 7:55am Saturday, June 13th on Malabar Road in Sandys parish just west of Watford Bridge, was apparently recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.
Inquiries continue and any witnesses should still contact the Somerset Police Station on telephone number 234-1010 or the main police telephone number 295-0011.
Reported Stolen Cars: Blue Peugeot 207 HB & Black Chevrolet Spark
Around 3:15am Monday, June 15th police received a report of a stolen vehicle.
It appears that a blue Peugeot 207 hatchback bearing license plate number 13354 was removed from outside an Ocean Avenue, Devonshire residence sometime between 9:30pm Sunday, June 14th and 2:30am Monday, June 15th.
And police are still seeking the public’s assistance in locating a black Chevrolet Spark bearing license plate number 30382 that was apparently removed from outside a White Sands Road, Paget residence sometime between 10pm Friday, June 12th and 5am Saturday, June 13th.
Members of the public who may have seen either of these vehicles recently should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.
Reported Stolen Honda CR-V Located
The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating a grey Honda CR-V bearing license plate number 47232 reported stolen from Reid Street near the junction with Burnaby Street in the City of Hamilton sometime between 8pm Friday, June 12th and 1am Saturday, June 13th.
The vehicle was later found around 9am Sunday, June 14th in the Trott Road, City of Hamilton area and impounded by police as inquiries regarding this matter continue.
81 Year Old Motorcyclist Remains in ICU
At last check around 7:30am Monday, June 15th, the 81 year old male motorcyclist injured in a collision with a truck that occurred around 1:50pm Monday, June 1st at the junction of Cavendish Road and Lane Hill in Pembroke remained at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit in critical condition.
