Meanwhile at 10:12pm, first responders attended a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle that took place on South Road, 200 meters east of the Botanical Gardens south gate in Devonshire. It appears that a man was traveling on South Road when he collided with a temporary barricade in the road. The man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. An investigation has commenced.
Update: The 56 year old Southampton man injured when the motorcycle he was riding apparently collided with a traffic cone on South Road in Devonshire in the vicinity of the Botanical Gardens around 10:12pm Monday, April 13th was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries and later discharged. Inquiries are ongoing.
