At 3:10am police and first responders attended a single vehicle road traffic collision that took place on Mullet Bay Road just west of Godet and Young Hardware Store.

Details are still emerging but a 27 year old male was found next to a motorcycle.

The male was taken to the hospital with serious head injuries and the area has been cordoned off while the scene is being processed.

Update: A 27 year old man is listed in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit after police and first responders attended a single vehicle road traffic collision that took place on Mullet Bay Road just west of Godet and Young Hardware Store.

It appears that a 27 year old man lost control of his cycle resulting in a member of the public noticing the victim next to his cycle in the road.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen this collision to contact police on 295-0011.
