Around 9:30pm Monday, October 28th police officers responded to a report of a single gunshot in the Spruce Lane, Pembroke area.

So far there is no forensic evidence to substantiate the report that a firearm was discharged and no one has attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

However, inquiries continue and any witnesses or anyone with relevant information regarding this incident is urged to call the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.
