The Bermuda Police Service would like to advise the public about a woman who goes around to homes and states that her motorbike has broken down, and she needs money to fix the bike.
If someone comes to your home with a similar method of operation and appears to be suspicious, please ask for a name, then get a full description and call the police on 295-0011.
Swing Bridge Open - Meantime, the public should be reminded that between 10am and 12noon tomorrow (Wednesday March 30th) the Swing Bridge in St. Georges will be tested, this means the bridge may be open for 30 minutes at a time. Emergency Services will be pre-positioning resources manage any emergencies and the motoring public should expect major traffic delays as a result.
