Death of 65 Year Old U.K. Male Visitor

At 4:25pm on Sunday, May 29th first responders attended a report of an incident that took place at Elbow Beach in Paget.
On police arrival it was ascertained that a 65 year old male visiting from the U.K. was snorkeling when it appears that he ran into difficulty.
He was seen in the waters by staff of Elbow Beach hotel. They commenced CPR until EMTs arrived.
The EMTs continued CPR at the scene and during transport to the hospital.
However, he was later pronounced dead.
No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the 65 year old visitor’s death is now underway.
