Chain Grabs

Over the past week there were 4 robbery reports involving a male suspect on a motorcycle, riding alongside other motorcycle riders and snatching chains, These crimes were committed during various times of the day in the Paget, Pembroke and Devonshire area, a white motorcycle was used by the suspect.
Anyone with information regarding these robberies are asked to call the Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
The Bermuda Police Service would like to advise the public, especially those on cycles to conceal items of jewelry and to be vigilant when travelling on the roads. Any suspicious behavior should be reported to police and where possible, vehicle plate and description details should be noted.
Death of 51 Year Old Man
Around 8:50pm on August 3rd 2015, police attended a report of an unresponsive 51 year old man in the Warwick Park Road area. The man was conveyed to KEMH where he was pronounced dead. The circumstances into his death are not believed to be suspicious.
