Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club Shooting Victim in ICU

At last check the 40 year old Hamilton parish man shot and injured at Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club a few minutes after 12am Thursday, July 2nd was in critical condition at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

It was initially stated that the victim’s age was 39.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident, where a lone offender apparently walked into the premises and discharged a firearm.

Any witnesses that may have seen suspicious activity between 11pm Wednesday, July 1st and a few minutes after 12am Thursday, July 2nd in the surrounding Bailey’s Bay, Ducks Puddle Drive Hamilton parish area should contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739.

Appeal Continues for Reported Stolen Car: Silver Renault Megane

Police continue to seek the public’s assistance in locating a silver Renault Megane bearing license plate number 47484 that was apparently removed from outside Leopards Club on Brunswick Street, City of Hamilton sometime between 9:30pm and 11pm Monday, June 29th.
