Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit are continuing their investigation into the armed robbery of a man at about 7:18am Monday 13th July, 2015. The complainant had left the Warwick Esso gas station to make a deposit at a local bank, when he was assaulted by two men (pictured) on a red Yamaha Nouvo motorcycle, brandishing a firearm and a machete.
The suspects are extremely distinctive in their attire, and would have been seen by motorists passing on Middle Road at the time – or by persons working in businesses between the Warwick Esso/Bowling Alley towards Khyber Pass.
Some members of the community will know the identity of these two persons.
Anyone with information, or who saw this incident, is urged to come forward to assist in bringing these dangerous offenders to justice.

Man Injured in Reported Serious Motorcycle Collision
Meanwhile, around 2:45am on Tuesday July 14th 2015, first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle collision along Pitts Bay Road near the junction of Roxdene Lane.
It appears that a 45 year old Devonshire man was travelling north along Pitts Bay Road when, it appears that he lost control of his motorcycle causing him to collide with a utility pole.
The victim is believed to have suffered serious head injuries as a result of this collision. At last check he had been admitted in to ICU where his condition was listed as critical.
