The Bermuda Police Service is aware of three incidents of willful damage that apparently took place sometime today (Thursday, September 1st) between 9am and 1pm.
Details are limited at this time, but initial information suggests that three cars were vandalised at Dellwood Middle School, 11 cars at Elliot Street parking lot (on the corner of Brunswick Street and Dundonald Street) and four cars at Par-La-Ville parking lot – all with what is believed to be white paint.
Police officers have attended the various scenes and inquiries are underway.
Any witnesses to these incidents of willful damage or persons with information regarding the individual(s) responsible should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.
Update: The Bermuda Police Service can confirm that a 41 year old St. George’s man has subsequently been arrested in connection with the willful damage of cars at Dellwood Middle School, Elliot Street parking lot and Par-La-Ville parking lot earlier today. Anyone whose car was affected by paint at the three mentioned locations is asked to attend Hamilton Police Station on Victoria Street to make an official report.
