50 Year Old Male Driver Arrested After Pursuit

Around 12:35pm on Monday, 22nd February Police had reason to stop a male driving a motorcar near the junction of Elliot Street and Princess Street, Pembroke.
The driver, a 50 year old Devonshire man who initially refused to stop for police, led officers on a high-speed chase throughout the North Hamilton area, before he was eventually caused to stop on St. Augustine Hill near the junction with Parsons Road.
The man was arrested on several traffic related offenses and is due to appear before the courts in the near future.
Meantime, between 6:00pm on 19th February and 8:00am on 22nd February, an unknown suspect/s stole several car parts from a bronze coloured BMW, which was parked in the yard of a Bakery Lane garage.
