Police responded to an incident that took place sometime between 10pm and 11pm on Tuesday July 21^st. It is believed that and altercation took place on Woodlawn Road, resulting in a 23 year old Sandys Parish man receiving a stab wound to the body. The man was taken to KEMH where he later died from his injuries.

Police are treating the death of the 23 year old man as suspicious and are asking members of the public, particularly in the Woodlawn Road area if they witnessed an altercation between men or have any other information which may be of assistance, to contact police on 2950011 or contact the confidential Crime Stoppers Hotline on 1-800-8477

No further information about the victim will be released until Next of Kin have been notified. An official press conference will be held some time tomorrow (July 23).
