At last check the 19 year old Sandys parish man injured in an apparent stabbing that occurred around 6pm Saturday, May 2nd outside Woody's Sports Bar in Sandys parish was recovering on a general ward at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The teenager’s injury is not considered to be life threatening.

Inquiries into this incident are ongoing and detectives continue to appeal for any witnesses to contact the Criminal Investigations Department on the main police telephone number 295-0011.
