19 Year Old Female Driver Seriously Injured in Single Vehicle Car Collision

At 12:15pm on Wednesday, first responders attended a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision that took place on St. John’s Road in Pembroke just 200 meters from the junction with North Shore Road. It appears that a 19 year old woman was driving a car when she lost control of the vehicle and hit a wall on the opposite side of the road. The 19 year old woman has been taken to hospital where she is being treated for head injuries. The area has been cordoned off and the scene is being processed by the relevant police officers. Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen this collision to contact police on 295-0011.

Update: The 19 year old woman is currently in the hospital’s ICU where her condition is listed as serious.

The BPS’s Pembroke Community Action Team will be hosting a Community Clinic at 4pm on Wednesday 24th February 2016. This Community Clinic is to be held at the Evening Light Pentecostal Church parking lot, on Parsons Road, Pembroke. Area residents are invited to voice their concerns at this clinic.
