Around 3:20am on Saturday, April 18th first responders were dispatched to a report of an injured man at Somerset Cricket Club.
Details remain limited at this time; however it appears that a 22 year old Sandys parish man sustained a cut to his neck by an unknown person brandishing a bladed article.
The 22 year old male was initially transported to Port Royal Fire Station for medical attention before being taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further medical assessment.
However, his injury was deemed to be superficial and not life threatening.
